Long Live Heavy Metal at The Metal Museum

Bravo Memphis begins its 2007/2008 season with a visit to the Metal Museum in Downtown Memphis. Join us Thursday, October 4th from 6:00-8:00 pm for a fantastic evening of all things mined, smelted, and smithed.

The museum is the only institution in the Americas dedicated to the conservation and advancement of fine metalwork. Drop your business card in at check-in for a hot little giveaway from the museum. During our visit we'll tour the new Blum Library and see a blacksmithing demonstration from the Metal Museum staff. Metalwork is not just for fences, weathervanes and beds. It can be sculpted into decorative keepsakes and delicate fancies so be sure to visit the gift shop for unique, moderately priced items.
