Greater Memphis Arts Council’s Bravo Memphis Celebrates Twilight with Tennessee

Playhouse on the Square proudly presents Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

MEMPHIS-January 10, 2007 - Bravo Memphis, The Greater Memphis Arts Council’s young professional organization, continues its 2006-7 season on Thursday, January 25 at Playhouse on the Square with Tennessee Williams’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Young professionals age 21 to 40 will have the opportunity to attend a special reception and dress rehearsal preview of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof before the show opens to the public.

Bravo’s evening at Playhouse on the Square will begin with an opening reception at 6:00 pm featuring hors d’oeuvres from Bach’s Lunch and cocktails. Attendance is free for members and $20 for non-members. All attendees will have an opportunity to sign up to win a gift certificate from Barnes & Noble/Bookstar.

Memberships will be available to all non-members at the sign-in table at the reception. Memberships will cover the ticket price to the remaining arts events this season, plus complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at a social hour before each event. Members also have the chance to meet the leaders and performers at local arts organizations and get a “backstage talk” before every event.
