Election Time, Kooky Halloween, Downtown Dining

The special election for the Memphis mayor post vacated by Willie Herenton is this Thursday (October 15). Even with 20 plus candidates, the field is relatively weak. The top three finishers should be Carol Chumney, Myron Lowery and A.C. Wharton. Be sure to get out and vote.

Kooky Canuck announced their annual Halloween celebration will be Thursday, October 29. There will be cheap drinks, live music, cash prizes, great people watching and loads of fun. Festivities begin at 9pm.
