Good Bye A.I., New Respect For Kiffin, Classy Football Owner

It appears the Memphis Grizzlies and Allen Iverson have agreed to terminate Iverson's contract. Chalk the overall A.I. situation up as another mistake by Grizzlies ownership and management. On a positive note, the Grizzlies did manage to get a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves over the weekend.

Two thumbs up to Tennessee-Knoxville's Lane Kiffin today. Mostly known as a young renegade, trash talker, Kiffin did the right thing today when he dismissed two of three football players for their alleged participation in a robbery attempt last weekend. Many "big time" schools would have suspended the players and/or let the issue fade away. Apparently Kiffin wants to try to run a clean program without off the field distractions.

There is always talk of which schools or professional teams have the best fans. Another new person to add to the "classy" list is Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams. Glad to see he still has some passion for the game.
