Iverson Gone?, Vols Taking It To Tigers

Allen Iverson has taken a leave of absence from the Memphis Grizzlies for personal reasons. Many believe this is a result of his lack of playing time off the bench.

The Grizzlies should trade him as quickly as possible. If he remains on the team, his presence will hinder any progress the Grizzlies may make. While they are at it, they should fire Lionel Hollins. Bad hire to begin with and the team isn't producing under his leadership.

You have to feel sorry for the fans that shelled out hard earned money to buy tickets when A.I. signed with Memphis. Management knew good and well that having A.I. on the team would generate ticket sales. If he remains off the team, the Grizzlies should offer refunds or deep discounts to ticket holders. It would be the right thing to do.

The Memphis Tigers are getting thumped by Tennessee 42-7 at halftime. Wow! The Vols have scored on 6 of 7 drives. Most teams get up for in-state rivalry games. Apparently the Tigers just lay down. Any guesses on the new coach?
