Big Fun This Weekend

Here are a few recommendations for people looking to get out of the house this weekend.

Free concerts continue tonight through Sunday at the Levitt Shell.

The best bet of the weekend will be Cooper Young Festival on Saturday. Lots of people, art, music and fun.

If you still have energy after Cooper Young Festival, there are a couple of options. Willie Nelson is playing at the Mud Island Amphitheater or you can go to the Liberty Bowl to watch Memphis take on Tennessee-Martin. Tickets are still available for both events.

A great way to wrap up the weekend will be Bardog's Birthday Bash on Sunday. It sounds like this will be an alley party (weather permitting) that will feature drink specials, a dunk tank and a meatball eating contest. Festivities begin at noon.
