Middle Tennessee Beats Up Memphis

Memphis blunders once again hurt the Tigers resulting in a 31-14 loss to Middle Tennessee State. Only two games into the season, the Tigers offense has not shown any sign of gelling. The Tigers dropped to 0-2.

A blow out loss to Ole Miss followed up by an embarrassing loss to yet another Sunbelt team has elevated Tommy West's position on the hot seat. If West doesn't step down by the end of the season, both he and athletic director R.C. Johnson should be fired by Shirley Raines.
